How long does fitted furniture take?
Workshop build is 4–6 weeks from sign-off; install is 2–5 days for a typical alcove unit or fitted wardrobe run.
Can you match my existing skirting and cornice?
Yes — we template existing profiles and machine matching runs in our workshop. Even unusual Victorian and Edwardian profiles are reproducible.
What materials do you use?
Painted MDF for moisture-stable carcasses; solid hardwood (oak, ash, walnut) for visible joinery; veneered ply for premium painted finishes that resist movement.
Do you handle the painting?
Yes — workshop-sprayed or hand-painted on site, with on-site touch-ups after install. We use Tikkurila Helmi, Little Greene or Farrow & Ball.
Can you fit furniture in a property with uneven walls?
Scribing to wonky walls is half the job in a period property — we scribe carcasses and use shadow-gap detail to absorb wall undulation cleanly.
What's the warranty on fitted furniture?
5-year workmanship guarantee covering hinges, runners, drawer mechanisms and finish. Hardware warranties pass through from Blum, Hettich and Salice.
